Kanye West is set to make a cameo in Anchorman 2, the sequel to the cult classic Will Ferrell and Steve Carrell movie we all know and love.
But we would love it even more if Yeezy followed these 10 commandments for his cameo role. That’s right, GlobalGrind has seen a lot of rappers-turned-actors over the years, some awesome and some weird, but still awesome. So Yeezy, take note!
10. Take a cue from LL Cool J’s movie debut. Bust a rhyme. Even if they are pulling guns on you.
9. All rappers in movies must have the stealth skills of a ninja in order to sneak up on people without anyone noticing – A la Tupac in Juice.
8. All rappers must drop knowledge in movies at least once. If the scene happens to be one of your verses, it’s an added plus. Right, Nas?
7. Self promotion: “So ladies, Waterfalls, why would one chase them.”
6. Keep it gangsta! Master P made this face every 40 seconds in his movie I’m Bout It.
5. Always keep it real. The Fat Boys were fat. So what else would they do in their movie other than eat? True to life.
4. Roll at least one blunt. Smoking is mandatory.
3. Remain tough at all times. If you get shot in the head, you still must remain tough. “People get shot everyday. B!”
