It’s never easy to get away with talking back to your teacher, but one Texas student just couldn’t resist trying.

A Youtube video of Jeff Bliss, a sophomore student from Duncanville High, showed the student going off on his history teacher who he believes to be lazy with her teaching skills.

As he was asked to leave the room and go to the office, Jeff went to the front of the class to continue his intense rant.

He told the teacher:

‘If you would just get up and teach them instead of handing out a freaking packet. There’s kids in here who don’t learn like that. They need to learn face to face.”

He continued:

‘You want kids to come to class? You want them to get excited? You gotta come in here, you gotta make ’em excited, to change him and make him better, you gotta touch his freakin’ heart.”

When asked by WFAA-TV about the rant, he told the station he had no regrets of his behavior:

‘I want to see a teacher stand up and interact with the students, get involved, discuss, talk, question and get deep into the subject. I believe that someone needed to say this.”

One editorial writer from the Dallas Morning News, however, doesn’t think he was so courageous with his act:

‘His choice of protest venues and methods is one I will never celebrate.”

‘He owes everyone involved an apology. And if he ever makes it onto the Today show, that might be an excellent venue to do it.’

Mmm… Do you guys think Jeff’s approach was out of line?
