In an exclusive interview with GlobalGrind partner Get Schooled, rapper Kendrick Lamar let us in on a little secret of his:
If he could work with any artist, he’d pick Sade.
Talk about a man after my own heart!
If the youngins’ aren’t familiar, you should do a quick search of the epicness that is Sade, or YouTube any one of her classics like “Smooth Operator,” “Is It A Crime,” Or “Ordinary Love.” And prepare to fall in love.
Kendrick also mentioned that he would like to collaborate with Erykah Badu, which obviously, we’d die for. But that doesn’t seem too far-fetched – the two already developed a bond during a discussion about K Dot’s top 10 rappers.
Anyway, we hope his dream comes true. Because the day a Kendrick and Sade track drops….I can’t even!
