His music style has the funk of the 60’s, the soul of the 70’s, that 80’s & 90’s flare with the energy of everything that is hot right now. Hawthorne’s latest offering, “Her Song,” features the UK’s Jessie Ware and is the hottest record this week.

His latest banger “Deep” is an example audio wizardry and fine wordplay. C Plus’s EP  L.O.Y.A.L.T.Y will be in the streets this June and it’s definitely worth checking for.

The track has that summer reggae feel, so its sure to grace BBQ’s this summer from Nostrand Ave to Negril Jamaica. Not sure if Johnson or SoulChild have any West Indian roots but this record will definitely get them the a pass…

Wow! So Destiny’s Child was really hood all along. First it was Beyonce’s “Bow Down” and now it’s “Dirty’s Laundry”. There is more then a few expletives flying around on this new song. And I looove Kelly. I mean Kelly has always been the bad girl of DC and she never needed to curse on any record. But this record is different for Ms Rowland. Dirty laundry sounds more like a story R Kelly would tell but I guess time will tell… Until we Read Again
