Last night, J. Cole hosted an intimate listening party in New York City. The “Cole Summer” rapper chose not to explain his album track-by-track, but the one song he decided to explain was the buzzworthy “Let Nas Down.”
Rumors about J. Cole’s candid track created lots of hype surrounding his album release, and we can say that after what we heard last night, fans won’t be disappointed.
“Dion called me when it dropped, sounded sad but sincere/ Told me Nas heard your single and he hate that shit/ Said you the one, yo why you make that shit?/I can’t believe I let Nas down,” raps J. Cole.
J. Cole’s sophomore album Born Sinner drops June 18.
