Ms. Carter is about to embark on her world tour and remind the world of what great music and powerful performances are all about. That’s right! No more “Bow Down,” at least for now. Beyonce’s new track “Rise Up” is the inspiration that is missing in music right now. I knew this remix was coming the first time I heard the original. Action Bronson’s ”Strictly 4 My Jeeps” song has been heard up and down the blocks of NYC for the last month. Singer-songwriter Sterling Simms has had a tough time breaking through the R&B red tape in the music business. Let’s hope his latest single “I Know Love” has a better impact. It features Pusha T who delivers a quality 16-bar verse over a drum heavy ballad and the crooning vocals of Simms. The sincerity in Sterlings vocals sounds like he knows love indeed. But the tone in his voice sounds like he also is about to choke the “ve” out love too.
