After holding 3 women hostage for 10 abusive and tormenting years, it would seem like there is nothing innocent about the actions of Ariel Castro.

He seems to think otherwise, since his lawyers are reporting that he plans to plead “not guilty” to over 300 charges of rape, kidnapping, and one of murder.

According to Reuters, his attorney told the outlet of Castro’s plan to plead not guilty:

“The indictment is being reviewed and a ‘not guilty’ plea will be entered at the scheduled arraignment.”

The indictment includes hundreds of charges which explore the details of the torture of the women who were restrained for 10 years, and there are more charges expected to be pressed after the full investigation.

The site also reports that prosecutors might seek the death penality on Castro:

Prosecutors said a committee will consider seeking the death penalty as a possible sentence after a complete indictment is finalized.

We hope that justice is served for the 3 victims, and that Castro is found guilty!
