Despite the mountains of mud at New York City’s Governors Ball, thousands of Yeezy fans trekked their way through Randall’s Island to see Kanye West close out the 3-day music festival with his 90-minute set.

After spending Saturday night celebrating his 36th birthday with close friends like Jay-Z, Beyonce and Nas, Kanye West seemed refreshed and excited to share his new music.

Yeezy performed an array of his past hits like “Diamonds,” “Jesus Walks,” “Power,” “Don’t Like (Remix),” and he performed his newer tracks like “New Slaves” and “Black Skinheads.”

To keep fans excited about his new album, Kanye also performed three new songs “I Am God,” “On Site” and one untitled song.

But what’s a Kanye performance without a Kanye rant?

Kanye took the time to explain why his new album has no lead single or being promoted on the radio, stating:

“You know with this album, we ain’t drop no single for radio, we ain’t got no big NBA campaign or nothing like that. Shit we ain’t got no cover…..we just made some real music.”

Kanye’s new album, Yeezus, will hit store shelves on June 18.
