A “small explosion” in a maintenance shed at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has forced authorities to evacuate the D Concourse.

Janet Ward, a spokeswoman for the Atlanta Fire Department, tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the explosion happened around 9 a.m. ET in the airport’s Concourse D.

Ward says there was no fire or smoke, but that power has been lost in the D Concourse and that passengers have been evacuated.

Power was eventually restored and no injuries have been reported.

Shortly after the explosion, state buildings near the Georgia State Capitol were evacuated after two bomb threats were made.
