Wale takes it back to his hometown of DC for his latest single “Clappers.” Tapping Nicki Minaj and Juicy J, Wale’s “Clappers” samples go-go band EU’s 1988 smash “Da Butt.”
“Shout out to that cellulite, got a real bad bitch that’ll sell you white, got another bad bitch that’ll set you right,” raps Nicki Minaj.
The energy is crazy on this track, which can only lead to a pretty epic music video. Wale was also recently featured on Juicy J’s track “Bounce It” featuring Trey Songz.
“Clappers” is featured on Wale’s forthcoming album, The Gifted, which drops June 25 and is currently streaming here.
