Amanda Bynes‘s music career is looking a little glum, especially since Wyclef Jean isn’t going to to be producing it.
It was rumored that the former-actress was going to be working with Jean on an upcoming record deal. A representative from Jean’s camp, however, denied the rumor of ever speaking to Bynes about the record deal.
The rumor started when CEO of Chinga Chang Records, Dan Herman, told E! News that a company had reportedly offered Bynes the deal.
“Linking the two of them will be something major.”
The Huffington Post released that Herman also said that the Jean was “receptive” to the idea of him and Bynes working together. He also was talking about arranging a meeting between the two of them; this never took place.
Amanda Bynes was Twitter saying,
I never spoke to anyone at Chinga Changa Records. I got an offer for a bigger record deal that I’m taking as soon I get my surgeries!

Will there be a record deal in the near future? Just with a different producer?
