While friends, fans and family say their goodbyes to legendary actor James Gandolfini, we look back and recall his greatest accomplishments as an actor.
Though Gandolfini appeared in many movies, he was best known for his role as the legendary mobster Tony Soprano, a role that could not be further from James’ personality. Gandolfini’s character was a cold, tough gangster who wasn’t afraid to say what he was thinking, even if it hurt the people he loved.
From the flood of support via Twitter courtesy of friends and fans, we know that James himself was much the opposite. He was a compassionate man who loved his craft, as well as his family, and never let the fame get to his head.
