If you’ve seen the tracklisting for Wale‘s The Gifted, then you know the forthcoming album is jam-packed with features.
Aside from collaborations with Rihanna on the “Bad (Remix)” and Nicki Minaj and Juicy J on “Clappers,” the MMG rapper deviates from the world of music with a guest appearance from one of the most iconic comedian/actors ever: Mr. Jerry Seinfeld.
In the BTS video, Wale links up with DJ Drama to speak on his album and his relationship with Jerry:
“He’s a very wise person,” he said. “He’s probably the richest person I know, so his perspective on everything is different. So I love to hear his insight, just how he looks at stuff. When you in this rap community, all we know is the maximum is Jay-Z as far as winning in life. He’s on another level of success outside of music.”
The latter portion of the clip segues into Wale’s The Gifted session, which Jerry interrupts, and the jokes ensue.
The Gifted drops June 25th. Expect to hear Jerry Seinfeld on the “Outro About Nothing.”
