We haven’t caught a glimpse of Baby North West with her superstar parents Kim and Kanye yet, but we know all about little “Nori” thanks to Grandma Kris Jenner!
Kris, who is on a major promo run for her upcoming talk show that’ll cover everything from fashion to food, let the world in on KimYe’s decision to name their daughter North when she visited The View this week. We can only imagine that Barbara Walters rubbed Kris the wrong way when she commented:
“I mean, it’s funny, but do you want your child named North West?”
But the grandma of three quickly responded:
“The way [Kim] explained it to me was that North means Highest Power, and she says that North is their highest point together. I thought that was really sweet.”
We’d have to agree – that is definitely uber sweet dopeness!
What isn’t so dope is the rumor that Kim’s brother Rob hasn’t met Nori yet, but Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has.
When asked about baby Nori, Rob explained that when he visited Kim she was only in the mood for peace and being with her mom Kris. Though he couldn’t unveil any cool deets about his niece, Steve could. He had this to say:
“I have seen a lot of babies, and a baby represents the love between the people and that meant more to me and the love that Kim was showing to Kanye.”
His invite came about:
“just because [Kanye] was interested in technology and companies, she, as a birthday present, she had me come up there to meet him. [It’s] unbelievable that a woman would do that.”
Hopefully Uncle Rob will get to meet the little pop culture princess soon, if he hasn’t already! As for now, Kris would also like us to know that “she’s tiny and perfect. She looks just like Kim — with her dark hair and some of her features.”
