They are trying to play our boy Meek Mill!.

The “I’m A Boss” rapper has been ordered to go to charm school as part of the terms of his probation in Philadelphia on Friday.

The NY Daily News reports:

Assistant District Attorney Noel Ann DeSantis said that Meek’s statements on Twitter and other social media had been followed by threats to his probation officer and some of his fans.

“I have my own record label with seven artists. … I do radio. I do interviews,” he said.

The judge dismissed his claim.

The judge said the Philly rapper needed etiquette classes to refine his use of social media and to help him explain the nature of his business to the court, adding that the etiquette classes were “more important than any concerts he might have.”

Judge Genece Brinkley told the rapper that he is expected to complete the classes before Aug. 4, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Meek Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams, was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison for a 2008 gun and drug conviction. He served eight months in jail and has been on probation since fall 2009.

In late March, Meek Mill angrily tweeted blogger Necole Bitchie after she made a few comments about the rapper. The beef was one-sided, as Bitchie decided to ignore the jab.

Damn Meek! Let her live! Hopefully this charm school will help Meek and not delay his touring schedule.
