Asiana Flight 214 from Seoul held more than 300 passengers and crew members aboard when it made a hard crash landing, lost a tail and caught on fire at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday morning.

More than 180 people were taken to nine area hospitals, but the majority had relatively minor injuries. 

Eyewitnesses to plane crash says that the aircraft “started shaking violently” after it hit ground, tail was ripped off, and it “rolled over.”

A passenger that was on the flight shared a photo and tweeted:

And with another frightening tweet, he adds:

According to a report by KTVUsadly reportedly two are dead, and 61 have been injured after passenger plane crash at San Francisco airport.

The San Francisco International Airport closed.

The site reports:

Firefighters and emergency crews from San Francisco, Redwood City, San Mateo responded to the airport and dosed the burning plane with foam to extinguished the fully engulfed aircraft.

Meanwhile, officials have closed all access to the airport and arriving flights were being diverted to nearby Oakland International.
