America’s Got Talent host, aka Mariah Carey‘s husband, Nick Cannon, stopped by the TODAY show and shed some light on MC’s recent injury.
Things took a turn for the worst during the shooting of her remix music video for “#Beautiful” with Young Jeezy. Mariah simply slipped, but hard enough to do some major damage and dislocate her shoulder. She was subsequently rushed to the hospital.
“It was pretty serious,” Nick said of the on-set accident. “Not only did she dislocate her shoulder, she actually cracked a rib and … she chipped her shoulder bone.”
“She was in this nice, beautiful gown, heels on and everything, and was kind of on this platform and reached and slipped and fell on her whole side,” Nick continued.
MiMi posted this picture yesterday on her Twitter with the caption, “Dislocated my shoulder on the remix video with Jeezy, sporting a very fashionable sling for the next couple of weeks!”
So it seems as though Mariah Carey will be performing with the sexy sling, but she’ll still look good!
