Your prayers have been working. Nelson Mandela is now responding to treatment, but still remains in critical condition.
This information was released by South African President Jacob Zuma, after visiting Mandela.
Mandela has been in the hospital since June 8th, battling an ongoing lung infection.
King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo, the head of Mandela’s Thembu Tribe, told AFP Wednesday that he was conscious.
“He could not talk, but he recognised me and made a few gestures of acknowledgement, like moving his eyes.”
In the midst of Mandela’s recovery, there is also friction between the family over Mandela relocating the burial site of his family members without consent from the others.
There is now talk about the alleged criminal grave tampering. King Dalindyebo is doing his best to comfort Mandela.
