Producer/artist Timbaland shares his views on recent Aaliyah collaborations – and he’s not a big fan.

During an interview with Diddy‘s Revolt TV, Timbaland discussed songs such as Drake‘s “Enough Said” and Chris Brown‘s “Don’t Think They Know.” Both records feature the late Aaliyah, who Timbaland mentored. Here’s what the legendary Timbaland expressed to Revolt TV on other artists collaborating with Aaliyah:

“A lot of these rappers out here are awful. Chris Brown got a record [with Aaliyah], it won’t work. Drake could do a record with Aaliyah, it ain’t going to work…Aaliyah music only works with its soulmate, which is me.”

Last year, Timbaland spoke out with another one of Aaliyah’s mentors Missy Elliott, about Drake allegedly producing an Aaliyah LP. However Timbaland has respectively worked with Brown and Drake on their own musical projects.

What do you think?
