It hasn’t been the best week in the world for New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner.

Yesterday, news came out that more lewd pictures and texts of Weiner (what a name) sexting some chick hit the Internet.

One of the more interesting and funny details is the alias Antony Weiner was using while dicking around: “Carlos Danger.”

(We’re sure there’s a Latin King member out there quite upset by the gringo’s name choice.)

The second Carlos Danger’s name was released, Twitter-nation went wild with jokes and memes.

Carlos Danger is a funny pseudonym — and it’s just one of many funny pseudonyms celebrities and politicians have used.

Here are some more funny famous ones.

Eliot Spitzer

The most famous political sex scandal of the last decade involved New York City governor Eliot Spitzer. In 2008, Eliot, who was happily married at the time, had to resign as governor after news came out he was involved with a prostitute.

When Eliot would meet up with his prostitute friend at the hotel, he would sign in using the alias George Fox. George Fox is a hedge fund investor who was friends with Eliot.

Justin Bieber

The Biebs is a big fan of Friends? Who would have guessed! During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Matthew Perry, the actor who played Chandler Bing on the popular show Friends, revealed that when the singer signs into hotels he used the name Chandler Bing. Bieber’s homie Lil Twist uses the name George Costanza

Plaxico Burress

When Plaxico got jammed up with a gun a couple of years ago, the wide receiver knew he was in deep trouble. So when talking to the police, Plaxico used the name Harris Smith. Funny part is that name became highly desirable on NFL.com and the suits at top had to shut it down.

Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp has some sense of humor. The actor recently admitted that when signing into hotels, the name he likes to use is Mr. Stench. Why? Because it makes him laugh when folks in hotel yell out “Mr. Stench.” Random: Mr. Stench is also Robert Pattinson’s nickname.

George Clooney

George Clooney and Arnold Schwarzenegger must have become good pals while on the set of the terrible Batman and Robin. The Schwarzenegger name would be on George Clooney would use when signing into hotels.

Michael Vick

In 2005, a woman filed a lawsuit saying that football star Michael Vick gave her herpes. In the affidavit, the woman said Vick used the name Ron Mexico when picking up his herpes medication. Aye carumba!

Chris Rock

Slappy White is one of the true pioneer black comedians. He was a big influence on Chris Rock and his act, which is why the comedian sometimes signs in to hotels using that name.

Lana Del Rey

You might know her by Lana Del Rey, but that’s not the name Elizabeth Woolridge Grant used when she first appeared on the pop world scene. The singer first appeared on the national scene as Lizzy Grant back in 2010.
