We sat down with legendary filmmaker Spike Lee to discuss his most recent project, and the notably outspoken icon did not hold back!
Spike is currently in the process of raising money via Kickstarter to create a reinterpretation of the film Old Boy. The film is based around the 20-year imprisonment of an advertising executive who spends the majority of his sentence in solitary confinement. Following his unexpected release, the former prisoner makes it his mission to find the person responsible for his imprisonment – only to discover that he is still being tormented.
Spike gave us the inside scoop on the film and also opens up about the Zimmerman verdict and his feelings on the many marches that took place in the days that followed.
