It looks like America is facing yet another shooting.
A gunman shot 6 people inside of an apartment complex in South Florida this past week, resulting in their and his death.
According to the Associated Press, a SWAT team held a stand-off with the gunman for hours until they stormed the building and shot him down.
All 6 of the people were shot dead, which is what triggered the neighbors to call the police after hearing gun shots.
Sgt. Eddie Rodriguez told the media:
“They made the decision to go in there and save and rescue the hostages.”
Rodriguez said both hostages survived. Rodriguez said he didn’t have any information on how long negotiations lasted.
According to police, 2 of the hostages, a male and a female, held by the gunman survived the attack.
Rodriguez continued:
“From up there, he was able to shoot at people across the street, catching this one man who was just walking into his apartment.”
