DMX just can’t seem to avoid trouble!
The Ruff Ryders rapper was recently arrested this past week, catching a DUI charge in South Carolina, and while he’s usually pretty angry during his arrests in the past, this one went differently.
In a video obtained by TMZ, DMX is seen being chased down by the police, questioned outside of his car, and then put in handcuffs and into the cop car.
While sitting in the front seat with his hands behind his back, he passed out multiple times while the officer took care of his arrest.
Funny enough, he handled having an itchy nose pretty well for someone who was probably extremely intoxicated.
The site reports:
In the footage, the cop asks X if he’s been boozing, and X says he had one drink — but later it sounds like he admits to drinking “4 or 5” (the audio is pretty bad). Despite the drinks, X insists he’s not too drunk to drive. The cop doesn’t buy it.
X was booked for DUI and hauled to a nearby station. He was released from custody roughly an hour later.
It looks like one person is happy about his arrest…his estranged wife!
Tashera Simmons recently spoke with RadarOnline about his DUI and she told them:
“It’s nice to know he’s alive and not on a drug binge somewhere.”
This news comes after he supposedly “blew” off a child support hearing and fled to South Carolina.
“I hope he gets the help he needs because his children and I need him to man up and be a father.”
We hope that DMX can get it together! Another arrest isn’t a good look.
