The #newrules phenomenon is taking effect.

Joining Kanye West in the interactive virtual world, Justin Timberlake is planning to release an interactive video for his latest single “Take Back The Night.”

Despite the controversy surrounding the song, Justin Timberlake is moving forward with its promotion. According to JT’s rep, the “Take Back The Night” video will feature an interactive experience through New York City.

“The video will take fans on a fun, virtual journey throughout New York City, from the legendary Yankee Stadium to historic locales in Chinatown and unlock secrets of the video by touching images to gain fun facts and expand the experience on the making of the video.”

A clip of the interactive video will premiere tomorrow, June 30. Justin’s forthcoming follow-up album, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 is set to drop September 30.

Shortly after Justin’s new album hits store shelves, the “Suit & Tie” singer will be embarking on his headlining world tour on October 31.

If you can’t wait until the fall, you can catch Justin on his “Legends Of The Summer” tour with Jay Z now.
