Over the weekend, Rick Ross was busy helping raise $1.5 million for Russell Simmons’ annual Art For Life charity fundraiser.

Now, he’s back to business with a brand new track titled “I Wonder Why.” The haunting song was premiered by Hot 97’s DJ Camilo, who was given the track exclusively from Rozay.

With all the controversy surrounding the George Zimmerman trial and the #JusticeForTrayvon movement, Rick Ross makes a reference to the testimony of Trayvon Martin’s friend Rachel Jeantel, who was the last person to speak with Trayvon Martin before he was gunned down by George Zimmerman.

“Now I’m being followed by some creepy ass cracka, now I’m being followed by some creepy ass cracka/ stand ya ground, stand ya ground/you gotta stand ya ground/ got on my hoodie and my motherf*cking desert E,” raps Rick Ross.

Rick Ross is currently gearing up to release Maybach Music Group’s compilation album, Self Made Vol. 3, due out September 17.
