Yo Gotti has been making a lot of noise in the game.

The Memphis native, signed to CMG/Epic Records, is known for the club banger “Act Right” and the poppin’ freestyle to Drake’s “Started From The Bottom.” Yo Gotti, aka Mario Mims, was formerly signed to TVT records. He dropped his Live From The Kitchen debut last year.

It is only right that the “Act Right” rapper came through to chop it up with our own Blogxilla in the No Judgement Zone. As the saying goes, every real nigga needs a bad bitch and Yo Gotti explains why.

“Every real nigga needs a bad bitch,” he says. “It’s a certain woman that holds a man down. It’s more of a mental thing then a physical thing.”

The rapper went on to discuss working with Young Jeezy and his connections to rappers in the game.

“I look at T.I.P as a big brother. Birdman does a lot of coaching to me. Rozay, I got a lot of partners who are just real niggas. Birdman gave me my first six-figure check to get me out of the streets.”

Yo Gotti also could not leave without discussing the “Act Right concept.” Check out the explanation in the video below.

Be sure to check out Yo Gotti’s album I Am in stores November 19.
