The Weeknd releases a brand new track titled “Love In The Sky.”
Hopefully, “Love In The Sky” is far from as controversial as his previously released track “Belong To The World.”
After he bigged up Portishead in a Complex interview, the band’s Geoff Barrow blasted him for making “Belong To The World” sound eerily similar to the band’s song “Machine Gun.”
“How does it feel/do you feel like you did before/do you see the world getting small, how does it feel, how do you feel,” sings The Weeknd.
Over the weekend, The Weeknd caught up with his fellow Canadian Drake.
Late last year, rumors began swirling about the two allegedly having a fall out. Since then, both Drake and The Weeknd vehemently deny those claims and maintain that they are indeed friends.
“Love In The Sky” is off The Weeknd’s forthcoming album, Kiss Land, due out September 10.
