Wait a minute, we feel like we’ve seen something like this once before…
After releasing a teaser spread of her “Killer Queen” fragrance advertisement earlier in the week via Twitter, Katy Perry is following up by revealing the #KillerQueen video snippet of her new commercial. And we think this is an actual indication that she is indeed coming for the throne.
If the video (above) looks familiar, it’s because it is. The same concept was used when King Bey stepped up on her Marie Antoinette pedestal to promote The Mrs. Carter World Tour earlier in the year.
The similarities don’t stop there; the video was also directed by Swedish maestro Jonas Akerlund, who happens to be the same guy who had Beyonce laced up all tight in her Queen gear.
Maybe, just maybe, the final video will be an actual battle between the Queens for the throne. We would totally tune in to watch that.
