Welcome to America, where everyone’s favorite word starts with a “N.”

Not exactly, but over the years, there have been many celebrities caught using the N-Word. Most recently southern belle Paula Deen (who wanted to plan a slave-themed wedding for her brother) and football star Riley Cooper, who said he would beat some n-word’s up.

But they aren’t the only ones who have used the word so loosely. Here are some other stars who (arguably) shouldn’t be using the controversial word…

Tim Allen:

Tim Allen tells the Tampa Bay Times that he should be able to use the n-word as much as he likes. “If I have no intent, if I show no intent, if I clearly am not a racist, then how can ‘nigger’ be bad coming out of my mouth?” asked Allen. The comic, added that “‘the n-word’ is worse to me than nigger.”

Paula Deen:

A former manager of Paula Deen’s restaurants in Savannah, Georgia, is suing Paula Deen for racial harassment, including using the n-word numerous times and making her employees use old southern (and demeaning) phrases. Lisa T. Jackson’s lawsuit alleges that Deen committed numerous acts of racism that resulted in her leaving Deen’s Lady & Sons and Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House eateries in Savannah. Since then, Deen has apologized.

Michael Richards:

Case in point:

Riley Cooper:

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper was recently caught on tape making a racist comment during an argument. Cooper was at country singer Kenny Chesney’s concert in June when this incident took place. He has since apologized.

George Carlin:

Jesse James:

Even though Jesse James says that there isn’t a racist bone in his body, he was once quoted as saying “I was told that you slept with a n***er.” According to James’s mother, he is a frequent user of the N word and his mother even suggested that her own son might be a racist. But James denied the claims and apologized.

Paris Hilton:

While Paris was at a party and under the influence, she started rapping the lyrics to Biggie’s song “Hypnotize.” At the time, she and her friends thought it was cool to say “We’re like two n****rs” out loud. She has since apologized, saying she sincerely regrets using those words.

Charlie Sheen:

Let’s just get right into it…“You’re a piece of sh*t f***ing liar and I hope you f***ing rot in hell. So f*ck you. I hope I never f***ing talk to you again you f***ing c*nt. F**k you. You’re a coward and a liar and a f***ing n***er alright, so f**k you.” Brought to you by Charlie Sheen.

John Mayer:

John Mayer says “It’s sort of contradiction in terms, because if you really had a hood pass, you could call it a ‘n***er pass.” Mayer admits that using the N-Word in an intellectual sense was arrogant of him because he realized that there is no intellectual word that is so emotionally charged.

Eminem:

Here’s Eminem’s contribution: “All the girls I like to bone have big butts/ No they don’t, ’cause I don’t like that n***er shit/ I’m just here to make a bigger hit.” He has also apologized for his actions.

Dog The Bounty Hunter:

When Dog the Bounty Hunter was on the phone with his son Tucker, he made a comment about his girlfriend referring to her as a n***er. Dog later acknowledged his mistake. Well, kind of. I now learned I’m not black at all, and I never did it out of hate… This sounds so stupid. I always did it out of love.” He told the media that he felt he was able to use the word because of his connection to black America.

These celebrities have to do better!
