Just saw the piece on GlobalGrind about Fat Joe and Terror Squad and felt like I needed to say how important Joe has been to hip-hop. The rise of Terror Squad was a major point in the history of hip-hop culture that will never been forgotten as it was the first time that Latinos owned the charts.
Fat Joe and Big Pun made some of the biggest hits in the world that shook the foundations of clubs from the Bronx to Berlin. Not only did Joe make smash records, he was always willing to show up for the political rallies and gave his money and his heart to charities across the globe. Unfortunately, Joe has to go to jail for a few months, paying for mistakes he made trusting people around him.
Anyhow, four months of rest and relaxation is something our man, Fat Joe, can do on his head and probably is needed since he has toured the world for the past 15 years without ever taking a break.
