A Quad Cities cop was caught on camera brutally beating a female suspected of shoplifting – all while her infant was watching.

The victim, Brandie Redell, admits that she did try to shoplift some clothes from the Von Maur store in Iowa. However, she also states that she didn’t deserve the beating she received from the cop that was interviewing her after she was caught.

“I was crying and begging him to get off me,” Brandie Redell, the woman who was beaten, says in a recent interview with the Better Government Association. She also says that her vision is still slightly impaired from the incident.

Davenport Police Officer Scott Crow says the reason he beat Redell was because she was “willing to fight” because her “hands were clenched.” Viewers say that the officer’s attack was extremely unwarranted.

Crow has not been charged with any criminal acts and continues on with his job.

What justice?
