Two college friends of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bombing suspect, are facing 25 years in prison and deportation charges after they disposed of a laptop, fireworks and a backpack after the attack to protect Tsarnaev. Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, both 19 years old and students at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, were arrested a couple of weeks after the attack. On the heels of news that two suspects were arrested in a terror plot that closed nearly two dozen U.S. embassies, the State Department has evacuated diplomats from Lahore, Pakistan in response to yet another terrorist threat against the U.S. consulate. [CNN]

One of America’s most respected doctors has something to say…to marijuana. Dr. Sanjay Gupta apologizes to the drug in a CNN post titled, “Why I changed my mind on weed.” In short, he’s now a supporter. “We have been terribly and systematically misled for nearly 70 years in the United States, and I apologize for my own role in that.” Read the rest, here…[CNN]

An arrest has finally been made in the cyber bullying and sexual assault case of Rehtaeh Parsons, who took her own life to escape the scrutiny. Two 18-year-old men face charges in the case –  two counts of distributing and making child pornography. Police said the evidence did not support sexual assault charges against the two.
