Jimmy Fallon and his wife surely didn’t traditionally go about having a baby and instead chose to use a surrogate!
In a new interview for the Today show, the 38-year-old talk show host sat down for his first interview as a new father, where he revealed why him and his wife decided a surrogate was the best option for giving birth to their new daughter Winnie.
He revealed to the outlet:
‘We said, “We’re not going to tell anybody,”‘ Fallon said. ‘It’d be just more fun if it’s just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody.’
‘When it happened we were shocked. … Who do we tell? Who’s going to be mad at us?”
“It’s so emotional.”
According to him, most of Jimmy’s friends found out about him and his wife having a baby after Winnie was already born!
Most of us got the first glimpse of the 5 lb 9 oz little girl when Jimmy carried her to his Manhattan home on Thursday morning this week.
We’re so happy for Jimmy and his wife, and we can’t wait to see more of Winnie!
