Ask any girl from Haiti who her favorite rapper is, and I promise you eight out of 10 times, she’ll say Future. ATL’s most famous Haitian MC has continued his string of hits over the last three years. His trademark autotune vocal has become that signature if you need on a hit (ask Rihanna). Better yet, peep the hottest track this week, Future’s “Honest.”

It seems like only yesterday when the “Snow man,” Young Jeezy, invaded the hip-hop world with his Thug Motivation. Shouts to DJ Drama. Atlanta made Jeezy, but the DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz made Jeezy famous worldwide. Years later, one of hip-hop’s biggest stars is gearing up with his CTE label to release the long-awaited Boss Ya Life Up Gang mixtape. This first single, “No Pressure,” features the Rich Homie Quan and sets the table for what appears to be another classic from Jeezy.

If you’ve never heard of Atlantic records artist this is great way to — as DJ Clinton Sparks used to say — get familiar. Her new song “Inhale” is a pop hip-hoppers dream. It’s bubble gum wrapped in plastic, but it’s also insanely unique. Hip-hop touches us all in different ways and Sirah is no different. Make no mistake, though, “Inhale” will be a hit when it’s all said and done.

One thing you can always say about Sean Kingston is that he consistently comes up with that summer hit record. His latest song, uniquely titled “Seasonal Love,” is another check he can take to the bank. Producer Nic Nac doesn’t do a bad job at all. This track will definitely get that Top 40 radio love just because it’s Kingston. But “Seasonal Love” is a really good track your mama would love. Doesn’t hurt he has 16 bar feature from MMG Capo Wale.

How about some new music from a group of fresh up and coming MC’s? Peep this new track by HighLife featuring Vic Mensa and Caleb James called “Myspace.” This is definitely a catchy, bass-heavy track complete with clever wordplay and perfect breath control. I recently saw somewhere that Lil Wayne doesn’t know where hip-hop is at right now. It’s always with the MC’s like HighLife and Vic Mensa, waiting to get on next. Until we read again.
