Kendrick Lamar is ruffling feathers.
Late last night, Funkmaster Flex premiered Big Sean’s “Control” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica, and basically, all hell broke loose.
During his 3-minute rage of rapid spitfire, Kendrick name-dropped legendary NBA coach Phil Jackson:
“Who the fuck y’all thought it’s supposed to be?
If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin’ me
I’m un-coachable, I’m unsociable, Fuck y’all clubs”
Surprisingly, Phil Jackson got wind of the name drop and responded to Kendrick by tweeting:
@kendricklamar it’s okay to be cocky and sure, but we all need somebody to lean on. Let’s just call it mentoring.

So far, Phil Jackson and New York rapper Joell Ortiz have responded to Kendrick’s “Control” verse. We wonder who’s up next?
