Another day, another movie premiere for Lee Daniels and The Butler movie cast! All month, co-stars Oprah and Forest Whitaker have been hitting the red carpet, gearing up for the movie’s nationwide release date on August 16.
They were joined by a handful of celebrity friends, including Jane Fonda, Gladys Knight and Minka Kelly, just to name a few. While everyone looked fab at the premiere, it was the queen of talk shows who garnered everyone’s attention in a bright and tight fuchsia wrap dress. Oprah rocked her curls and her curves and strutted down the carpet in metallic peep-toe pumps.
Her friend Holly Robinson Peete made an appearance while glowing in a yellow top paired with a black skirt with leather details.
Forest Whitaker strolled the carpet with his wife Keisha in tow, who was pretty in pink in a Romona Keveza gown.
Bossman Russell Simmons kept his cool in a baseball cap and chinos.
Gladys Knight brought her diva presence to the premiere and went casual and comfy in a black and white ensemble.
Jane Fonda was also spotted in a monochrome number.
While Minka Kelly was a striking lady in red.
And there was plenty of man candy roaming around that night, too. James Marsden and his blue eyes struck a pose in a dapper gray suit.
Another man in gray was Alex Pettyfer, who slicked back his hair for the occasion.
Elijah Kelley stood out in his shiny black suit and shoes.
Jesse Williams caught our eye in a leather button-up, jeans and sneakers.
But Aml Ameen was incredibly handsome in navy.
