Chris Brown can’t catch a break.
We almost forgot about Chris Brown and Frank Ocean’s music studio brawl earlier this year, but the unexpected fight is making headlines once again.
According to Billboard, Frank Ocean’s cousin Sha’keir Duarte has filed a lawsuit against Chris Brown.
Duarte claims he suffered a concussion as well as humiliation and mental anguish after he was punched and kicked by a member of Brown’s entourage during a fight at a recording studio. In addition, the lawsuit claims that Brown taunted Duarte and threatened that the fight could escalate into a shooting.
Frank Ocean posted a picture of his injuries shortly after the Westlake studio fight, but fortunately, the “Forrest Gump” singer recovered in time to perform at the Grammys. Frank Ocean also stated he wouldn’t be pressing charges, but cousin Sha’keir isn’t having it.
The news of this lawsuit comes days after it was reported Chris Brown suffered a seizure and declared that he would be quitting music after the release of his X album.
