Before Mac Miller was subliminally dissed by Kendrick Lamar, he put his rap persona aside to pose for one of two covers for The Fader magazine’s Fall Fashion issue. The second cover features the pop songstress Sky Ferreira, who is caught exuding uber ’90s grunge.
The #87 issue features an interview with Mac that has not much to do with his fashion sense per se, but gives a profile of the rapper’s budding career and a candid glimpse of his life off-stage, including a detailed passage about his college dorm room-style living space.
On the grunge girl side, Sky Ferreira took a moment from sharing her model-esque profile for the camera to record some corresponding behind-the-scenes footage, where she gabs about the significance she shares with her photo shoot location.
