Drake is calling upon a couple greats in the game for Nothing Was the Same. Jay Z and Lil Wayne are both set to make appearances on the Champagne Papi’s third album.

According to Rollingstone Magazine, Drizzy has already collaborated with the Hov and Weezy along with Scottish DJ/producer Hudson Mohawke.

The Young Money rapper tells the mag:

“This album is about growth. When I play it for people, they ask, ‘Who’s that rapping?’ I’m like, ‘That’s me.’”

Speaking on one of the more emotional tracks on the album.“Connect,” he says:

“That one hits you in the heart. It’s painful and beautiful at the same time.”

Painful and beautiful, that sounds like just the magical mix we love to hear from Drake. It sounds like we have a lot to look forward to. The album drops September 17th.
