You’ve got to be kidding.
It was reported last week that former B2K member Raz B fell victim to a nightclub brawl in China that landed him in a coma, but to our dismay, it was all a big fat hoax.
According to CNN, the reports of Raz B being in a coma came from a woman named Toy Jones, who is now claiming that she was hired by Raz B’s family to make the false reports.
On the other hand, Raz B’s manager Elayne Rivers maintains that Raz’s injuries weren’t serious and statements on his health were not made by an “official representative.”
The hoax even had Raz’s own brother Ricky Romance fooled. In a statement, Ricky Romance said:
“I was unfortunately unable to contact my brother at the time and then panicked. I then alerted as many people of this information hoping to gather facts… Since the source that gave me this information was what I thought to be legitimately reliable I didn’t question I just believed. I apologize if I seem like I jumped to conclusions but a coma is a serious situation and it was concerning my brother whom is my best friend as well. I sincerely apologize for the confusion I caused if that is the case.”
