A school bus carrying 32 children rolled over in Bonner Springs, Kansas around 1PM today. The bus rolled over on its side on the southbound ramp from Highway 7.

KMBC reports:

At least 30 injuries were reported. Emergency crews set up a triage scene. The bus belonged to Durham School Services, according to KMBC’s Johnny Rowlands.

KMBC confirmed that the students were sixth-graders from The Pembroke Hill School.

School officials said there were two buses — one carrying girls, the other boys — heading to a campout at Tall Oaks Conference Center when one bus flipped over.

A school spokeswoman said that eight students were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

All parents of the students who were on the buses have been asked to go to Bonner Springs High School with a photo ID.

This story is developing.
