After threatening her record label over the release of her long awaited album, M.I.A. sticks it to “the man” with a new release titled “Unbreak My Mixtape.”
Over the past few months, the Sri Lankan rapper has released numerous high energy tracks like “Bring The Noize” and “Only 1 U,” but “Unbreak My Mixtape” is vastly different from both. “Unbreak My Mixtape” features samples from Blur’s “Tender” and Karen Dalton’s “I Love You More Than Words Can Say.”
M.I.A.’s long awaited album, Matangi, will hit store shelves November 5.
