Next week, the second annual Made in America festival, an event organized by Jay Z, will be going down at Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway; headlining that show will be Hov’s wife, Beyonce.

A week after that, Academy Award winning director (and former Happy Days star) Ron Howard will world premiere a documentary he shot about last year’s festival at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

Apparently the documentary will portray everything from backstage moments to interviews with the performers. There should also be candid shots of Jay Z, who headlined the first night of the festival last year.

Here’s how the Toronto International Film Festival describes the doc:

“As seen through Howard’s affectionate gaze, Made in America is a love letter not only to Jay Z and his unique project, but also to the city of Philadelphia. Fascinating interludes include one-on-ones with audience members about what the show means to the Philly community — the responses are both positive and negative. Howard explores the birthplace of American Independence and how it relates to this unprecedented event. He even takes some time to follow a local hip-hop group through its attempt to get added to the prestigious bill.”

Sounds pretty cool, no?
