One Direction’s Zayn Malik is officially off the market and engaged to singer Perrie Edwards after proposing on Sunday. Perrie gave it all away when she arrived to the world premiere of the band’s “This Is Us” documentary wearing her rock on the red carpet.
The Little Mix singer’s mom couldn’t keep the secret in:
“It’s true. They got engaged on Sunday and it was absolutely lovely and, you know, I feel . . . it’s wonderful because Zayn’s absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces and it’s just perfect! “They just get on so well together and they understand each other so it’s just fabulous!”
She went on:
“He did the traditional asking me and then asking his mum and dad and everything,” she shared, “and it was fabulous, just lovely. I was like a little emotional and, like, ahhhhhh, it was so lovely,” Duffy added of Malik’s request. “And I just thought it was adorable.”
Zayn’s rep also confirmed to Us Weekly:
“Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private”
Perrie was working that ring on the red carpet. Congrats to the beautiful couple and may they last forever!
