Much anticipation has been building for Lady Gaga to make her musical comeback at this year’s MTV VMAS, and she kicked it all off on the red carpet.
The singer has toned down her style as of late, but in true Monster fashion her look was still striking.
Set to open the show, the 27-year-old wore an all black everything (even down to her hair) ensemble, with a gown by Prabal Gurung.
Strutting her stuff on the carpet, Gaga posed for the paps with Busta Rhyme,s but we’re sure she made sure to dip out from the scene quickly to prep for her opening performance of her new single, “Applause.”
