The moment has come.
After weeks of battling out their opinions on CNN and Twitter, Don Lemon and Russell Simmons have finally met face to face to talk things out.
After disagreeing on many different levels as to whether the youth are their own demise or if it caused by things out of their control, the two sat down on CNN to discuss their relationship.
Don starts off the conversation with:
“It doesn’t mean I don’t like you, and you don’t like me. We just both disagree.”
With that being said, the two moved into the key issues they both have found disagreement on, which is how African American culture should be helped in this country.
Russell said of the topic:
“The only way to move people forward is to give them another chance. Give them the education. Give them the opportunity.”
