Is this the death of twerking? We say yes, and this song is the very last straw.
On the heels of the word “twerk” officially being added to the Oxford Dictionary, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus drop a new Maejor Ali-produced song unfortunately titled “Twerk.”
Originally, Justin Bieber’s partner-in-crime Lil Twist announced the single was supposed to be his, but there’s no sign of the YMCMB rapper on this version.
“I came up in this party tryna twerk, tryna twerk/ twerk, twerk, twerk,” sings Miley.
We don’t know why this is happening, but we want it to stop. This twerking trend has to die.
