There’s an art to dressing the First Lady, and that art is not only in the fit, color and thread count, it’s also in the designer.

Yesterday, President Barack Obama and our First Lady Michelle Obama joined former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter as they stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s iconic I Have A Dream speech and the March on Washington. For the occasion, Michelle paid her own silent homage to “The Dream” Martin Luther King Jr. spoke of by wearing a dress from Detroit-born African American designer Tracy Reese.

The fly FLOTUS opted for a $498 embellished flared frock from the designer’s collection, featuring bold, scarlet flowers with beaded centers and a rear v-neckline. She complimented the dress by pinning her newly highlighted hair back and paired the look with her signature sleek pumps.

The dress is still for sale on the Tracy Reese website if you’re looking to emulate the First Lady’s flawless look. Take a closer look at the dress below.
