If you don’t know about Alabama rapper Doe B, now’s the time to get familiar.

Since the tender age of eight, Doe B has been dreaming about becoming a rapper, but it wasn’t until he was shot in the eye in 2009 that the now 22-year-old rapper became serious about his craft.

Most recently, Doe B dropped his street acclaimed Baby Jesus mixtape on the Fourth Of July and released the video for his “Hood Memories” banger.

GlobalGrind sat down with the rising Alabama rapper to talk about his new mixtape Baby Jesus, collaborating with T.I. and Juicy J on the “Let Me Find Out” remix, and how getting shot changed his life.
