On the heels of her “UNBREAK My Mixtape,” Sri Lankan femcee M.I.A. drops “Come Walk With Me.”
Unlike her previous releases “Bring The Noize” and “Only 1 U,” “Come Walk With Me” kicks off like a classic pop song, but of course the track takes a dramatic turn. After the first 60-seconds of the song, M.I.A. puts her own spin on the record with tribal sounds and heavy bass.
“Can I be your best friend, can I make it to the end/can you give me some of what you went and gave them?” sings M.I.A.
“Come Walk With Me” is currently available on iTunes. M.I.A.’s long-awaited album, Matangi, is due out November 5.
